M: Your birthday is coming up pretty soon, what would you like for your birthday? (He's going to be five)

E: Ummm... I want an IPad.

M: Elliott honey, that's something you're going to have to ask your Mom & Dad to buy you. Is there something else you would like?

E: Ummm... I want a dragon for Lily - just like the one I have. She wishes she had one.

M: Elliott, that's sweet - but this is YOUR birthday. You should pick something that you want for your birthday.

E: Aunt Michele, I'm going to have to think for a little bit, I just don't know what else I want. Can you talk to Grandma while I think?
